Check out St. Brigid's at any of our upcoming events! Look for us at upcoming festivals or other events, or find us once in a while at Fenian's Irish Pub (corner of Fortification and Jefferson Streets, in Jackson)... join us for a lively selection of pub songs, dance tunes, and what the Jackson Free Press describes as "hauntingly beautiful Celtic melodies against lyrics about beer, sex, and love lost."
Drinking songs aside, we would love to provide some musical entertainment for your next party or event, and can customize our set list to fit the occasion. With our love of vocal harmonies and liturgical music, we have provided music for choral evensong services as well as holiday programs with music of the season. If you prefer music for a wedding or christening (St. Brigid is a patron saint of newborns, after all), we promise to leave the pub repetoire at home... and we can often arrange for dancers to join us if you are interested in traditional Irish dancing.

- March 17, 2011- with Spirits of the House and Jackson Irish Dancers at Broad Street in Banner Hall; St. Brigid's plays at 5:00 p.m., followed by Spirits with JID from 6:30 to 8 p.m. There's a special St. Patrick's Day menu, too - come out and join us for your St. Patrick's Day fun!
- December 11, 2010 - Historic Christmas at The Oaks, 823 N. Jefferson Street, Belhaven Heights (holiday open house from 10 to 3 with Victorian Christmas music by St. Brigid's from 11 to 1) - free and open to the public.
- August 14, 2010 - Bright Lights, Belhaven Nights (the hottest festival in town!). More at www.greaterbelhaven.com
- March 21, 2010 - Fenian's Irish Pub (evening; time TBA), as part of their St. Patrick's Day celebration, co-sponsored by the Celtic Heritage Society, and featuring music and dancing all day long: www.celticfestms.org for details.

Starting in winter 2010, St. Brigid's is taking a break from our monthly Fenian's gig, to permit us to work on some new arrangements and to accommodate a couple of our members' "real jobs" and (in Julia's case) a new baby ... however, feel free to call us about bookings and we'll see what we can do!
